About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Risk Manager to join our client's team in West Cumbria. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating environmental and health risks associated with the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential environmental and health hazards.
- Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental and health procedures.
Requirements:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field such as environmental science, health and safety, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
