Internal Audit Trainee

This role is based 5 days a week at our HQ. As our Internal Audit Trainee, you will work with the IA Team to provide assurance to the business that our internal controls are working effectively.
This is a Trainee role, so we don't require previous experience. This is the perfect opportunity to gain exposure into how a £5bn turnover commercial business operates.
You will collaborate with stakeholder groups across our business, such as HR, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Services, showing curiosity and getting into the granular detail of how their processes work and if they are effective.
You will undertake end-to-end independent audit/assurance reviews in line with the Internal Audit Plan, to include the support of:
- Planning the scope of the audit.
- Working with teams to conduct the audit.
- Channelling our Think without Limits is crucial in this role, as you will support the business in continuous improvement by supporting projects, processes, and the development of new systems to ensure effective controls are in place.
Financial qualification is preferred but not essential. An interest in risk management, internal controls, auditing, and finance concepts and principles is required. You must be able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, building lasting relationships and being a true partner.
