The Job

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment and Talent Development Lead to join our Business Performance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for various white-collar positions within our company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent for white-collar positions.">
  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify current and future hiring needs and develop recruitment plans.">
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure Flannery Plant Hire remains competitive in the talent market.">

Candidate Sourcing and Selection:

  • ">
  • Use various sourcing channels to actively recruit qualified candidates.">
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.">
  • Coordinate and participate in interviews, assessments, and selection processes to identify the most suitable candidates for each position.">
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.">

Employer Branding:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.">
  • Promote Flannery Plant Hire as an employer of choice by communicating our company culture, values, and opportunities for career growth.">
  • Implement employer branding initiatives, including job advertisements, social media campaigns, and career events.">
  • Oversee end-to-end mentoring and buddy systems for all new starters.">

Talent Pipeline Management:

  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for ongoing and future hiring needs.">
  • Proactively source candidates for critical positions and foster relationships with potential candidates.">
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of qualified candidates, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.">

Recruitment Metrics and Reporting:

  • ">
  • Track and analyse recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.">
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities, including candidate pipelines, time-to-hire, and cost-per-hire, to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.">

Qualifications and Skills:

  • ">
  • Proven experience as a White Collar Recruiter or similar role, preferably within the construction or plant hire industry (not essential).">
  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle recruitment processes, including candidate sourcing, screening, and selection techniques.">
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software/tools.">
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to recruitment and selection.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with hiring managers and candidates.">
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously.">
  • Proactive and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.">
