We are seeking an experienced Data Protection Compliance Specialist to join our team at Birmingham Mind. As a key member of the organisation, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures that ensure compliance with GDPR and Data Protection Laws.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in investigating data breaches. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing all data protection policies, ensuring robust reporting is in place and maintaining organisational compliance with the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit.
You will work closely with managers to ensure they understand the importance of GDPR and assist in designing and implementing new processes. Your expertise will be essential in developing audit processes to ensure organisational compliance with both Data Protection Laws, GDPR, and our own data protection policies.
As a key point of contact for the team, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being able to deal with a diverse range of people and enquiries in a professional and friendly manner while maintaining confidentiality.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £37,000 per annum, taking into account the location and industry standards.
