About Us: Great Western Air Ambulance Charity is a pioneering charity that provides lifesaving services to the local community. Our mission is to save lives and improve health outcomes through our air ambulance and charity retail services.

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Retail Team Leader to join our team and lead the financial delivery, team engagement, and community presence in our new Bristol shop on Whiteladies Road.

Job Summary: As a Retail Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the shop, including sales, customer service, and staff management. You will also be involved in developing and implementing retail strategies to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the shop's daily operations, including sales, customer service, and staff management
  • Develop and implement retail strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with the charity's fundraising team to develop and implement fundraising strategies
  • Ensure that the shop is always well-presented and maintained
  • Monitor and report on shop performance, including sales, customer satisfaction, and staff engagement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a charity or non-profit organization
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the shop and the charity
  • Basic DBS check required due to contact with vulnerable people and the public
