Job Summary

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Senior Estates Officer (Electrical Bias) to join their Estates Department at Scunthorpe General Hospital. The successful candidate will play a proactive role within the Estates Management team, contributing to the Trust's objectives in a safe, cost-effective, and efficient manner, while ensuring compliance with legislation and good practice.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Carry out AP duties in line with relevant appointment and HTM requirements.
  2. Support the Senior Estates Manager and deputise as required.
  3. Functional management of junior staff members.
  4. Responsible for training and mentoring of estates team members.
  5. Provide senior engineering support and act as a role model for other maintenance team members.
  6. Cross-site responsibilities in accordance with the appointed AP function.
  7. Responsible for specific oversight and completion of AP action logs.
  8. Technical support to projects.
  9. Provide technical reports and solutions.
  10. Regular engagement with the Authorising Engineer.
