Job Title: SEND Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Worker to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a SEND Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our specialist school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children during lessons and school activities, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist staff and children during lunch and break times, promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Manage pupils' personalised learning plans, adapting to their unique needs and abilities.
  • Provide daily care and support to young people, including helping with personal care and hygiene.
  • Work with a variety of SEND and Mental Health needs, delivering 1:1 or small group activities to promote learning and development.
  • Collect evidence of children's work to support their assessment and progress.
