About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join our team at a leading care home in the Biggleswade, Bedfordshire area. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our residents with dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the care team to promote an enabling environment and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Deputise for the Manager in their absence and take charge of the home's operations.
  • Support and motivate the staff team to deliver person-centred care and achieve our goals of delivering a fantastic support service.
  • Have experience of working with people who have dementia and have held a supervisory role within the social care sector.
  • Be highly flexible and able to work under pressure.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable managerial experience within a similar role, with responsibilities for staff management and supervision.
  • Good computer skills and an understanding of person-centred, needs-led, and outcome-based service delivery.
  • Committed to quality care and service provision, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism.
