Job Opportunity: Music Teacher

Step Teachers is working with a Secondary School in the Thetford area to find a Music Teacher for a Long-Term Maternity cover. This role is a great opportunity for a qualified Music Teacher to join a supportive team and make a positive impact on students' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging music lessons to students of various ages and abilities.
  • Maintain a well-organized and safe classroom environment, ensuring that all necessary resources and equipment are available.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental and school goals.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
  • Comply with school policies and procedures, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have recent experience as a Music Teacher in a Secondary School setting.
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and behavior skills.
  • A relevant Music-related degree is desirable.
