Job Title: HSQE Advisor

Deploy UK Rail is seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor to join their team in Glasgow. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in promoting Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental best practices across the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective SHEQ compliance strategies, providing relevant data to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ensure company processes and legislation are adhered to through excellent communication, training, and evaluation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the SHEQ Manager to identify and mitigate safety and environmental risks, and assist with controls to minimize these risks.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in internal audits to measure and assess business compliance with SHEQ standards.
  • Support the implementation of Behavioural Safety and Safety Culture Change Programme.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a SHEQ Advisor or HSQE Advisor in the railway, construction, highways, or utilities sectors.
  • NEBOSH certificate and IEMA certification.
  • Knowledge of operational safety and understanding of UK and European SHEQ legislation.
  • PTS and driving license.
