Senior EHS Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior EHS Specialist to join our team at Peopleforce Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our emergency response team, designing and delivering safety training programs, and providing guidance on EHS standards and UK regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • EHS Training: Develop and conduct thorough EHS training programs, offering resources and support to ensure employees are well-versed in safe work practices.
  • Emergency Response: Oversee and support the site's Emergency Response Team, ensuring preparedness and effective handling of any emergency situations.
  • Project Management: Manage and execute EHS projects as assigned, ensuring they align with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Incident Investigation: Support safety incident investigations and maintain the quality system's effectiveness while ensuring compliance with corporate, divisional, and local regulations.

As a Senior EHS Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and enforcing EHS policies and procedures, and will step in to lead the EHS team in the absence of the EHS manager when necessary.
