About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Companion at Home Instead. As a Care Companion, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily tasks such as washing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with medication management and administration.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events.
  • Prepare meals and snacks for clients.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the care team.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of medication management and administration.
