About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at HC-One. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our care homes are presented to the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment for our residents and colleagues.
  • Undertake painting and decorating duties as required, including making good any damage prior to decoration.
  • Ensure the implementation of the care home's health and safety policy and emergency procedures.
  • Undertake general painting and decorating tasks in all parts of the care home as required.
  • Complete mandatory and specialist training related to your role, on or off site as and when required.
  • Recognise the signs of possible abuse or neglect and know what to do if there are any concerns.
