An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Geography Teacher to join our Humanities Department on a temporary basis. We are seeking a dedicated professional who can deliver engaging lessons, foster a love of learning, and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

Job Description:
  1. Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, using innovative teaching methods to engage students.
  2. Student Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development and improve teaching methods.
  3. Departmental Contributions: Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider life of the school, including departmental initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification, strong subject knowledge in Geography, and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and organizational skills, flexibility, and adaptability, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

This role offers a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and the opportunity to work in a well-resourced Humanities Department with enthusiastic students.
