Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Registered General Nurse to lead an integrated community nursing team under the guidance of the Modern Matron and Senior Community Lead Nurse in Leigh on sea.

Main Duties

Responsible for the ongoing assessment, development, implementation, and monitoring of healthcare services to ensure the highest standard of service and care is delivered in a consistent and safe manner, within the home and clinical setting.

Undertake a range of clinical duties/nursing procedures and participate in the development of guidelines and protocols, ensuring all policies are implemented and adhered to.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an autonomous practitioner within an integrated team, supporting the delivery of the EPUT vision of patients being seen by the right person, with the right skills at the right time.

As a Community Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of mixed skill community nursing staff to manage appropriate care for patients in their own home/community setting.

Person Specification

We are looking for a 1st level nurse with community nursing experience who can demonstrate leadership and the ability to work within a changing environment, who is flexible and keen to develop as the service needs.

Essential qualifications include RGN first level nurse and willingness to undertake Extended & Supplementary Nurse Prescribing Course.
