We are seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Adviser to join our team at Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd. As an Insurance Sales Adviser, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on General Insurance matters to clients and providing best of breed insurance products at reasonable prices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Incoming Sales and Member/Customer Enquiry Calls: Respond to client inquiries and provide solutions to their insurance needs.
- Produce and Issue Quotation, New Business and Renewal Documentation: Create and distribute insurance quotes and documentation to clients.
- Assist Customers to Protect Their Material Assets and Liabilities: Help clients understand and protect their assets and liabilities through insurance products.
- Follow Up and Convert Leads as Well as Making Outbound Calls: Follow up with leads and make outbound calls to clients to promote insurance products.
- Be a Productive and Efficient Member of a Sales Team: Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Achieve Agreed Sales & Retention Targets: Meet or exceed sales and retention targets set by the company.
- Maintain and Achieve Growth in Income from Existing Customers: Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to increase revenue.
- Develop and Maintain Positive Ongoing Relationships with Insurers and Underwriters: Build and maintain professional relationships with insurers and underwriters to provide the best insurance products for clients.
Requirements:
- Insurance New Business Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance sales or a related field.
- Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- IT Skills Including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
- Ability to Build Successful Business Relationships: Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Willingness to Learn and Develop into a New Profession: Willingness to learn and develop into a new profession, including CII membership and qualifications.
- Polite and Co-operative Towards Customers, Brokers and Colleagues: Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients and colleagues.
