Contract Personnel Thetford is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Despatch Operative to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis, with the potential for a permanent position.
We are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude, who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure maximum productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collate, pick, pack, and label customer orders based on packing sheets.
- Pack items for stock as requested.
- Pick and pack aluminium for powder coating.
- Report any quality issues to a senior team member.
Requirements:
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous packing experience is preferred.
- Comfortable working to targets and deadlines.
- Ability to take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Basic IT knowledge, as you'll be required to print off labels and complete internal training.
- Own transport is required due to rural location.
- Ideally, a full UK driving license for occasional collections and deliveries.
- Eagerness to learn, develop, and contribute to the company objectives by undertaking additional tasks.
- Physically fit as this role involves heavy lifting.
Working Environment:
The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality work.
