Part-Time QA Lab Technician

At Herr Foods Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time QA Lab Technician to join our Nottingham, PA team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hourly lab tests on finished product packages to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Communicate test results to shift supervisors and other key personnel.
  • Operate x-ray machines to inspect and test products as required.
  • Compile product, package, and ingredient data as needed.
  • Perform visual quality checks and locate products in the warehouse, production, and storage environment.
  • Ability to learn testing processes and proper operating procedures for quality assurance lab equipment.
  • Communicate issues and information between shifts as required.
  • Adhere to all Safe Quality Foods (SQF) policies.

Sanitation and Safety:

  • Clean and sanitize work areas and food processing equipment using chemicals.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and SQF rules, attending related meetings and training sessions.
