About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the firm's cash flow and ensuring that all debts are collected in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a high volume of internal and external phone calls/emails to chase debts and provide excellent customer service.
  • Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders and clients to resolve debt issues and improve relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to identify and resolve root causes of debt and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize collections and reduce delinquencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and system updates to ensure efficient debt management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in collections and debt management.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and numeracy skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel and Word.
