Job Title

Lead Compliance Engineer: responsible for analysing regulations and communicating with design engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate products and systems against regulatory and safety standards.
  • Improve compliance, safety, and sustainability processes within the engineering department.
  • Collaborate with systems and design engineers to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and investigations to resolve non-compliance issues.
  • Manage compliance documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience in compliance or safety engineering.
  • Strong understanding of UK, EU, and US regulatory environments.
  • Proven track record of bringing compliant products to market.
  • Experience with requirements engineering and V-model development process.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies and obtaining certifications.

Remuneration

The estimated salary range for this role is £70,000-£90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
