We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Night Nurse Manager at our Kings Norton service in Birmingham. As a Night Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our patients during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the night shift team and ensure that staffing levels are adequate to meet the needs of our patients.
- Monitor the standards of care delivered during the night shift and take corrective action as necessary.
- Support and advise colleagues during the night shift to ensure that they are able to provide the best possible care to our patients.
- Take a lead role in managing referrals during the night shift and liaise with on-call managers and medics as necessary.
- Prepare a night report detailing any incidents, staffing levels, and actions taken during the night shift.
- Qualified Mental Health Nurse with 2 years plus post-registration experience and active NMC registration.
- Knowledge of NMC standards and guidelines, requests, and professional practices.
- Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
- Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice.
- Good working knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
- Ability to undertake physical requirements of PRICE training.
- Responsive and flexible.
