Job Title: Child Care Assistant - Level 3

The Aspire Training Team is currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join the team at Apple Blossom Day Nursery as a Child Care Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 3 Childcare apprenticeship within a friendly team at a fantastic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with personal care
  • Supporting with feeding and snacks
  • Preparing activities for the children
  • Participating in activities with the children
  • Helping with messy play
  • Working with other team members to keep the setting clean and tidy
  • Adhering to safeguarding procedures
  • Keeping the children safe at all times
  • Following health and safety procedures
  • Observing children interacting with parents

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this Apprenticeship
  • You must be able to obtain a clear DBS
  • GCSE – English and Maths C/4 or above/ Functional Skills

Working Hours:

  • This position is 52 weeks per year, working hours will be a minimum of 30 hours per week with flexible shifts to be discussed between the nursery's opening hours of 7.45am and 18.00pm
