About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Alexander House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, well-being, and dignity are respected.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care to residents, including personal care, meal support, and mobility assistance.
  • Support daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with medication administration and record-keeping.
  • Contribute to a positive and engaging environment, promoting social interaction and activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
Requirements
  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant or in a related field.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional care and a commitment to resident-centered care.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.50.
  • A 33/44-hour contract with opportunities for overtime.
  • 5.6 weeks of annual leave.
