Data and Analytics Service Delivery Lead

About the Role:

National Health Service Scotland (NHSScotland) is a leading provider of data services and advanced analytics within the public sector. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Service Delivery Manager for Data and Analytics to lead the delivery of our services, projects, and products, and manage our delivery teams building data and analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, scoping, and estimating demand for data and analytics services.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Leading the delivery of projects, work packages, and business-as-usual services.
  • Developing and maintaining processes and standards that support the delivery of our services.
  • Contributing to service improvement and strategy.
  • Line managing team members.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and management experience.
  • Proven experience in the business intelligence and data domain.
  • Strong and effective communication skills.
  • Stakeholder engagement and management skills.
  • Passion to make a difference in the field of data and analytics.
  • Desire to excel within a high-performing team.
  • Appetite for lifelong learning and growth.
  • Ability to constructively challenge and contribute to the overall success of the service.

Location and Working Pattern:

This role can be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. We offer a hybrid working pattern, with Monday to Friday, 37 hours available.
