Job Title: Deputy Head Groundsperson
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our grounds team as Deputy Head Groundsperson. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the maintenance and upkeep of our grounds, ensuring they are safe and well-maintained for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the grounds team in the maintenance and upkeep of the college grounds
- Develop and implement grounds maintenance plans to ensure the grounds are safe and well-maintained
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the grounds are integrated into the overall college operations
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of grounds maintenance funds
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance and management
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective grounds maintenance plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
