Job Title: Lead Supportability Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Supportability Engineer to join our team at Leonardo. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing robust engineering solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and coach junior team members to develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Manage a team effectively as a team leader/line manager.
  • Present technical solutions at design and peer reviews to ensure technical accuracy.
  • Undertake project tasks, detailing input, processes, and output, with cost and timescale constraints.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Take an active role in engineering process improvement.
  • Supervise team members and plan and manage workload.
  • Take ownership of work packages, planning and scheduling own workload and the work of others.
  • Interact effectively with customers and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate technical expertise within supportability.
  • Define standards and procedures for engineering tasks.
