Quantity Surveyor Opportunity at Luton Bennett

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Luton Bennett, a leading construction company specializing in piling and foundations. This role offers a fantastic chance for career development and training, with funding towards further qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend pre-contract and pre-start meetings to secure favorable contract terms.
  • Inform clients of variations and agree extra costs and final accounts in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and manage sub-contractor payments and forecasts.
  • Check purchase ledger subcontract accounts.
  • Generate timely applications, invoices, and final accounts to meet client deadlines, ensuring cash flow is paramount.
  • Manage and oversee subcontractors to ensure compliance with back-to-back terms of business.
Requirements:
  • Quantity surveying experience, including measurement, valuation, CVR, and change management.
  • Experience with JCT and NEC forms of contract or equivalent.
  • Degree or equivalent in quantity surveying or equivalent qualification in law and/or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • Extensive project experience.
