Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Jarrow. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring the most favourable terms of contract are secured, managing subcontractors, and preparing timely applications and invoices.
Key Responsibilities:- Contract Management: Attend pre-contract and pre-start meetings to secure the best possible contract terms.
- Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractors to ensure compliance with back-to-back terms of business.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage sub-contractor payments and forecasts, ensuring timely applications and invoices.
- Reporting: Generate reports and prepare information in support of all claims and variation work.
- Quantity Surveying Experience: Proven experience in measurement, valuation, CVR, and change management.
- Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with JCT and NEC forms of contract or equivalent.
- Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in quantity surveying or equivalent qualification in law and/or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Project Experience: Extensive project experience in a similar role.
