Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Jarrow. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for ensuring the most favourable terms of contract are secured, managing subcontractors, and preparing timely applications and invoices.

1. Contract Management: Attend pre-contract and pre-start meetings to secure the best possible contract terms.
2. Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractors to ensure compliance with back-to-back terms of business.
3. Financial Management: Prepare and manage sub-contractor payments and forecasts, ensuring timely applications and invoices.
4. Reporting: Generate reports and prepare information in support of all claims and variation work.

1. Quantity Surveying Experience: Proven experience in measurement, valuation, CVR, and change management.
2. Contract Knowledge: Familiarity with JCT and NEC forms of contract or equivalent.
3. Qualifications: Degree or equivalent in quantity surveying or equivalent qualification in law and/or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
4. Project Experience: Extensive project experience in a similar role.
