As a key member of our Integrated Client/Main Contractor Delivery team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our £2 billion Heavy Civils package of work on the largest main works civils contract on High Speed Two.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Construction Assurance Manager in undertaking Constructability Assurance, taking a risk-based approach. You will work closely with HS2 Project Managers, the HS2 QHSSE Compliance Manager, and the Stakeholder and Interfaces Manager and Integrated Project Team (IPT) in undertaking your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting HS2 Project Managers by providing specialist advice and expertise at all stages of the construction process for help in administering the contract.
  2. Responsible for supporting the NEC3 Supervisor in discharging their duties under the Contract.
  3. Responsible for supporting the NEC3 Project Manager in discharging their duties under the Contract.
  4. Responsible for supporting the functional teams in assuring that the works are adhering to U&A's, Environmental Minimum Requirements, and Code of Construction Practice requirements.
  5. Support the Senior Construction Assurance Manager in managing HS2 cross contract interfaces with respect to constructability.
  6. Assisting the Senior Construction Assurance Manager and HS2 Project Managers with the HS2 CDM Assurance Process to enable the release of the Hold Point Release Letter.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in civil engineering, construction, or a related field, with experience in managing large-scale civil engineering projects. You will have a good understanding of NEC3 contracts and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
