Job Description:

Learning Support Assistant
  • Provide individualised support to students during lessons, ensuring they stay on track and engage with their studies.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create differentiated resources that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Offer support in both group and individual settings, adapting to the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively with teachers and other support staff to implement strategies for student success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with colleagues and parents.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience working with students with special educational needs.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £27,000-£32,000 per year, based on experience.
