Master Production Scheduler in a High-Tech Environment

Job Summary
We are seeking a Master Production Scheduler to join our team in the rolling stock industry. As a key member of the production planning team, you will be responsible for creating and managing master production schedules, developing detailed production plans, and coordinating material delivery schedules.
The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with planning calculation tools such as SAP. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that production plans are accurate, complete, and available on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage master production schedules
- Develop detailed production plans and material delivery schedules
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely production plans
- Monitor production progress versus plan and provide data for overall short-, mid- and long-term site capacity planning
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in production planning
- Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes
- Experience with planning calculation tools such as SAP
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary: £38,000 per annum (approximately £19.68 per hour) and a range of benefits including paid annual leave and a pension scheme.
