About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at GSL Education - Bournemouth. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing accessible and inclusive education for students with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN
  • Provide individualised support and guidance to students, promoting their academic and personal development
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to create comprehensive support plans for students with SEN
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up to date
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, promoting effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification in SEN education
  • Previous experience of working in a SEN school setting
  • Strong understanding of different SEN needs and effective strategies for supporting students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
