Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team as a Locum Band 6 Physiotherapist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote physical recovery, enhance mobility, and improve functional independence.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care, including occupational therapists, social workers, and nursing staff.
  • Educate patients and families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and strategies for maintaining physical health and well-being.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on clinical outcomes and feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records according to departmental policies and professional standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and service development initiatives to improve the quality of care.
  • Support and mentor junior staff and therapy students as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy and current registration with HCPC.
  • Significant experience in a clinical physiotherapy setting, preferably within community or integrated care.
  • Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Salary Range: £38,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
