Procurement Category Specialist

Are you a seasoned procurement professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Category Specialist to join our team at Adecco.
Job Summary: As a Procurement Category Specialist, you will be responsible for providing category support across various sections, including Filled activity, Converting and pack out. You will specialize in Converting & Pack Out Services, working with third-party manufacturing and hard goods.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide category support across various sections, including Filled activity, Converting and pack out.
- Specialize in Converting & Pack Out Services, working with third-party manufacturing and hard goods.
- Identify cost reduction efforts and implement innovative procurement best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers.
- Lead negotiations and effectively manage complex supplier relationships.
Requirements:
- Experience in procurement, especially with contract manufacturers.
- Initiative, self-starter with a positive and proactive approach.
- Project management experience.
- Experience successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on complex projects.
- Financial acumen and comfort with conducting business analytics.
- Fluent English.
- Procurement experience of 5+ years.
- Experience in one of the following areas: Direct materials / GFR / Converting / Assembly / Kitting.
- Strong negotiation experience.
- Stakeholder/supplier management experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in a manufacturing organization (preferred).
- Strong negotiation and contracting skills.
- Skilled in written and oral communications.
- Comfort with conducting business analytics.
- Familiarity with SAP (navigation and usage).
- Proficiency in Excel and managing large data sets.
