Job Opportunity

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to lead their nationwide design team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural design, a strong technical background, and excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical lead of the design team, overseeing the design of structures and approvals for others' designs
  2. Day-to-day operational lead for the design team, ensuring efficient project delivery
  3. Mentoring team members towards Chartership and beyond, fostering a culture of professional development
  4. Preparation of fee proposals, driving business growth and profitability
  5. Assisting in strategic direction of the design team, contributing to the company's overall success

Requirements

  1. Degree qualified Civil/Structural Engineer, preferably Chartered MIStructE or MICE
  2. Extensive structural design experience, with a strong understanding of building materials and techniques
  3. Historic Buildings experience is advantageous, as is multi-storey building design experience
  4. Expert Witness experience would be desirable, as would remedial works for buildings insurance
