Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team at CBSbutler Holdings Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical direction of our client's projects, working closely with our multidisciplinary design and engineering services team.

About the Role:

  • As a Structural Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical direction of our client's projects, ensuring all necessary technical governance is undertaken.
  • You will be responsible for the line management and technical development and growth of our structural engineering team.
  • You will coordinate and manage other discipline inputs into projects, taking financial responsibility for the structural fee on projects where leading.

About You:

  • You will be a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer with a proven track record of successful delivery of design projects from feasibility to practical completion.
  • You will have extensive post-graduate experience in major structural engineering building projects, including experience of producing low embodied carbon solutions.
  • You will have detailed knowledge of design codes and standards relating to structural engineering, as well as 2D and 3D design software packages and their suitability at project level.
  • You will have knowledge of construction implementation with proven site supervision experience.
  • You will have a proven track record in delivering technically excellent design projects on time and to budget.
  • You will have a sound commercial understanding of the consultancy business.
