Job Title: Structural Engineer - Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer with design experience to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design of complex projects, working closely with our clients to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out detailed design calculations to up-to-date Eurocodes
  • Manage the technicians undertaking detailed design drawings and preparing specifications for tender purposes
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the team
  • Assist with management of all team projects, resources, and making key commercial decisions on fee spend

Requirements:

  • Building structures design experience
  • Experience as a structural engineer on major projects
  • Design knowledge, from working on a wide range of projects and using British, US, and European codes of practice
  • Experience using common analysis software (including or similar to CSC Fastrak, TEDDS, ROBOT, ETABS, and SAFE)
