Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our EMEA Finance and Accounting team in Edinburgh. As a Senior Accountant, you will drive credible financial reporting across multiple countries and support projects and process improvements to support our long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly closing of financial records across various companies and offices ensuring EMEA-wide reporting is well-coordinated, timely, and accurate.
  • Support internal and external audits for both group and local statutory purposes.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly reporting packages for management review including variance analyses and reconciliations.
  • Work closely with IT to support financial systems testing.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of systems and policies and procedures to ensure adherence to company guidelines and proper internal controls.

Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.
  • Prior background in a financial accounting role.
  • Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills including advanced Excel skills.
  • Oracle or other major ERP system experience.

Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This salary is based on industry standards and the role's requirements.
