Ocean Housing is seeking a highly skilled professional to support their zero-tolerance approach to damp and mould in properties.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Senior Property Services Manager to assist in delivering and coordinating the service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting surveys to identify damp and mould issues and recommending remedial works
  • Providing expert advice to operational staff on damp and mould prevention and resolution
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of KPIs to reflect tenant needs and industry best practice standards
  • Coordinating the programming of works and allocating resources to ensure a high level of performance across the organisation

The ideal candidate will have experience of carrying out building surveys and identifying remediating causes of damp and mould. They will also have experience of coordinating internal and external contractors and an understanding of current disrepair legislation.

Requirements include a HNC in Building Construction or equivalent and a Level 3 qualification. A Diploma in surveying practice and a qualification in domestic energy assessment are desirable.
