Ocean Housing is seeking a skilled professional to support their zero-tolerance approach to damp and mould in properties. As a Property Condition and Disrepair Coordinator, you will work under the guidance of the Senior Property Services Manager to deliver and coordinate the service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting surveys to identify damp and mould issues and recommending remedial works
  • Providing expert advice to operational staff on resolving problems and issues
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of KPIs to reflect tenant needs and industry best practice standards
  • Coordinating the programming of works and allocating resources to conflicting priorities

You will have experience of carrying out building surveys and identifying remediating causes of damp and mould. You will also have experience of coordinating internal and external contractors and an understanding of current disrepair legislation.

A HNC in Building Construction or equivalent is required, and a Diploma in surveying practice and a qualification in domestic energy assessor are desirable.
