Job Title: Electrical Field Service Engineer, Medical Equipment

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, repair, testing, and commissioning of medical equipment at hospital sites throughout the West Midlands and Worcestershire region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair medical equipment, including surgical lighting, operating theatre tables, medical gas facilities, and associated operating theatre control systems and electrical infrastructure.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall equipment reliability.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to hospital staff and management.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical equipment technologies and advancements through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Strong background working with high-value electrical-mechanical capital equipment.
  • Electrical qualification and relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
