Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Physiologist to develop, implement, and deliver a service-wide training strategy that meets the department's needs.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team and lead the development of a comprehensive training strategy. The successful candidate will have expertise in current training programmes at apprentice, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a service-wide training strategy to meet the department's needs.
  • Deliver expert Cardiac Physiology services in Catheter Labs, pacing, and Non-Invasive procedures.
  • Manage the Cardiac Physiology resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform highly specialist expert practitioner duties and competently perform complex and highly complex specialised Cardiac investigations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in a relevant healthcare subject or HCPC equivalence, with experience of providing training & assessment and delivering education and training within several areas of Cardiac Science.

A broad knowledge and understanding of Cardiac Science, as well as clinical knowledge and skills sufficient to underpin their role as a specialist scientist in Cardiac Physiology/science, are also essential.
