Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Leader Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a SEND secondary school in North Tyneside.

This inclusive school caters for pupils aged 11-16 with a range of special educational needs, including Autistic Spectrum Condition and Moderate Learning Difficulties.

The successful candidate will have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service and experience of working in a transferable role. They will also have a knowledge of EHCPs and be able to work effectively with parents, carers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will be confident in working alongside students, ensuring they are fully supported within their learning and general classroom activities. They will also possess communication skills that can be personalised to suit students of different abilities.
