The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform and Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Nigel Wright Group. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity that will drive forward support services around our identity platforms and account management.

This role will be a senior position, responsible for resolving a range of technical incidents and requests in the identity, user access, and account management area. You will also be expected to continually drive improvement of this service to our internal customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sizeable identity platform deployments in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory/Entra, in a hybrid deployment.
  • Implement and support authentication technologies, such as SAML and OAUTH.
  • Work with broader Entra identity capabilities, such as Conditional Access and Identity Governance.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of overall Active Directory authentication and architecture.
  • Experience with related technologies to identity, such as Intune/MEM.
  • Build trust and highly effective working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Extensive customer-facing experience in a support environment.
  • Aware of key service management processes and metrics.

Desirable Skills
  • Experience working in a large retail environment.
  • Knowledge of SCIM and/or other automation approaches to user provisioning.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting tooling, such as Powershell, and/or IaC tooling, such as Terraform or Ansible.
