About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Home Technical Pricing Analyst to join our Underwriting team at First Central Insurance Management Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping us launch a new Home Insurance product and develop advanced pricing models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement pricing models using statistical techniques and data analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess new data sources
  • Monitor and maintain pricing models to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Develop underwriting rules and engage with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation
  • Present work to wider stakeholders and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
Requirements
  • Strong mathematical skills with a minimum 2:1 degree in a numerate subject
  • Excellent data and statistical analysis skills
  • Strong IT skills with programming skills (e.g., R, C++, MATLAB, or Python)
  • Experience of statistical modelling preferred
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good time management and organisation skills
  • A desire to learn and innovate
