Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain sophisticated pricing models using a combination of traditional and data science techniques.
  2. Collaborate with underwriting teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop data-driven solutions.
  3. Work closely with retail and technical pricing teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of pricing strategies.
  4. Communicate complex pricing analysis and recommendations to key stakeholders, including senior management and underwriting teams.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, or computer science.
  • Proven experience in statistical and data science programming languages, including R, Python, PySpark, SAS, and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools and techniques to communicate insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
