Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a "Good" Ofsted rated primary school in Accrington. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about contributing to the development and education of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons.
  • Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
  • Work under the guidance of the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
  • Supervise students during non-classroom times including lunch and recess as needed.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
