About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Enforcement Officer to join our Planning Team in Mid Devon. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with planning regulations and delivering a high-quality service to our residents and businesses.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience, and enjoy a range of benefits, including access to a discounted leisure membership, generous annual leave entitlements, and flexible working arrangements.

You will be responsible for:

  • Enforcing planning regulations and investigating complaints
  • Providing support to the Enforcement Assistant
  • Developing and implementing effective enforcement strategies
