Are you a skilled development planner looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Development Planner to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd.

As a Senior Development Planner, you will be responsible for leading and managing the planning and promotion of strategic land projects. You will conduct comprehensive site appraisals and feasibility studies, prepare and submit planning applications and appeals, and engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants to drive project success.

You will also monitor and influence local planning policies and frameworks to align with strategic goals, provide expert advice on complex planning and development matters, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field, and Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent. You will also need to have proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the private sector, and in-depth knowledge of UK planning legislation and policy.
