Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Control Coordinator Companion Animal, you will be responsible for elevating the profile of quality in all company processes.

  • Quality Governance: Ensure the implementation and enforcement of quality and food safety standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Internal Auditing: Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with quality and food safety standards.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, implementing preventative measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Customer Liaison: Collaborate with customers in the pet food industry to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring our products meet their requirements.
  • Equipment Verification: Sign off equipment after maintenance and cleaning to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Plant Performance Trials: Conduct trials to evaluate the performance of our equipment and processes.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to personnel on HACCP and food safety protocols to ensure a culture of quality within the organization.
